The anonymous woman posted the story to Reddit asking strangers for advice after what she described as one of the “most confusing moments” of her marriage.
According to the post, she arrived home from work several hours earlier than expected and immediately noticed something strange happening in the living room.
She says her husband was on his knees near the couch while the family gardener was stretched out with his dirty feet propped up on the sofa.
“I honestly froze when I walked in,” the woman wrote. “My husband looked terrified.”
The woman claimed the gardener quickly sat up while her husband allegedly tried explaining the situation away as a “joke,” though she admitted she didn’t believe it.
