According to the latest platform analysis, there has been a 48% increase in straight men promoting foot-related content this year — a massive jump from last year’s reported 26% increase.
FootHubb analysts say the trend is being fueled by rising demand for authentic male foot content, especially involving gym socks, work boots, sweaty sneakers, and multi-day sock wear.
“Many straight men are realizing there’s money and attention in this market,” one SockMarketX analyst explained. “Some initially joined as a joke or challenge, but many stayed after seeing the financial potential and social media growth.”
Global Growth Surges Over 60%
The report also found a 60%+ increase across more than 12 countries worldwide, according to FootHubb’s Global SockTracker™ data system.
Countries seeing the largest growth in straight male participation include:
- United States
- Canada
- Brazil
- United Kingdom
- Germany
- Australia
- Thailand
- Japan
- South Africa
- Mexico
- France
- Philippines
Big Feet and Stinky Socks Driving Engagement
FootHubb says straight men with:
- Large feet (sizes 12–15)
- Gym-heavy lifestyles
- Blue collar jobs
- Multi-day sock wear habits
continue to generate some of the highest engagement rates across the platform.
Analysts also say many creators are increasingly branding their content around “real masculinity,” rugged work environments, sports culture, and naturally stinky socks rather than traditional adult content.
A Growing Online Economy
What was once considered an underground niche has rapidly evolved into a global online business category. From gym-goers to construction workers, thousands of straight men are now monetizing their stinky socks, sweaty shoes, and foot-focused content through subscription platforms, private sales, and social media promotion.
According to FootHubb, the industry’s rapid growth shows no signs of slowing as more men discover they can turn their stinky feet into both influence and income.
